Bay Area Toll Authority Automatic License Plate Reader Systems
Transport Data Systems has received a contract to provide automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) equipment for installation on the six ORT lanes located at the Benicia/Martinez Bridge and for a total of six HOV lanes located at the Dumbarton (2) and San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridges (4). As a part of this subcontract TDS will modify the TDS software originally provided as part of an earlier contract for the other 67 lanes to accommodate the new lane and plaza server interfaces at all six of the BATA bridges in the San Francisco Bay area. The subcontract also includes software maintenance for five years.
Transport Data Systems designs, develops, produces, and sells automatic vehicle classification and license plate capture products for the fare collection, commercial vehicle operations, school bus enforcement, and border crossing markets.
